Instructing with the GVC BMW CCA
The Genesee Valley Chapter takes great pride in the high quality of its driving school instructors.

To maintain the caliber of this pool, the GVC BMW CCA …
  • Offers an Instructor Training School (ITS) for advanced drivers to learn and practice the skills required to be an Instructor,
  • Has an Instructor Review Process to assess and verify the qualifications of instructors from other chapters before they are accepted into the GVC Instructor pool,
  • Offers continuing education in the form of Instructor Seminars to keep its existing instructors current in areas that affect their on-track instruction.

  • Instructing with GVC
The GVC BMW CCA is very selective about accepting instructors from other chapters / organizations. To be considered, you will need to provide evidence of your past instructing experience and references.

Step 1: Please make sure that you have created a 'my GVC' account, and you are logged in, before you fill in the form.
Step 2: Please complete and submit this application if you are an instructor with another chapter and wish to become an instructor with the GVC BMW CCA.

If you have any questions please email: GVC Chief Instructor

    Instructor Seminars
The GVC BMW CCA also conducts 1-day Instructor Seminars in the off-season to keep its instructors up-to-date in the latest in track safety, performance technology and instruction techniques. These sessions are typically held in Rochester, NY in March, and may include reknown guest speakers such as Ross Bentley, racing coach and author of the "Speed Secrets" series on Race Driving Techniques.
