| I have a black 1999 540i 6 speed that had rust starting on the drivers side door and trunk lid at the weld seems. I had Holtz body shop replace both panels which they also painted. They did a fantastic job, the paint is perfect and my car looks brand new again. Cost was $2,400 which I felt was high but in line with the hours required. I can't comment on an entire car paint job.

| I had similar experience with Holtz' shop. They painted my hood, front bumper, and all four door handles for $1000 and did a great job. Their quote was a hundred to $150 higher than others, but taking into consideration their familiarity with the car, how to properly disassemble, their proximity to spare parts if needed, and knowledge about BMW paint (they do many more than the typical shop) clinched it. No regrets. I also had good experience with Mendon Collision. Great work at a fair price.
