| In 2001 I gave my nephew my 1982 320i, and now he wants to get rid of it. It's not running, but may only need a minor amount of work. The interior is excellent, the exterior is good and I think there may still be some value in it. He needs it moved from his dad's place quickly...within a few weeks. Do you folks think there's any hope in getting a buyer, either whole or parted? Or should he just avoid the hassle and have it towed and junked? The car is in Dundee, NY (where my nephew lives), and I'm in Minnesota.

| Rick, Try posting on a couple of BMW forums; www.bimmer.org go to the E-21 forum and also the www.2002faq.com forum. 2002 owners on the 2002faq forum would be interested in the front seats , they are a direct swap,( rear seat will fit into a 2002 but it is a very tight squeeze ). There are some other interior parts that swap into the 2002; steering wheel, sun visors, rear view mirror. The 5 speed gearbox is a common upgrade to the 2002, as is the limited slip differential. Both forums would be worth a try. Tim 1969 4 door 2000
