posted Tuesday, April 7, 2009:  Registration for the May 9, 10 Ultimate Driving School at Watkins Glen opened last Friday, and the response has been good.  The Novice run is nearly full, but the other run groups still have slots.  So if you'd like to take advantage of our $100 discount for Novice students, or of you're an experienced student and want to drive Watkins Glen again, there is still room.  Fill out an application and mail it in.

See you at The Glen !

Jim,
I am going to be bringing a trailer up for the first time. I was wondering if I could drop it off at the track on Friday afternoon.
Thanks for all your efforts in putting another event together.

Thank You Jim.
Will you be doing tech at the Seneca on Friday afternoon?
Will you need a hand?

Jim,

I am looking forward to being on the track instead of standing on a flag station for an Ultimate Driving School!  I have my car ready.  My wife will be flagging and will be starting our sixth year with RSI at WGI!  I have been at Pocono and Summit Point for the flaging too and always hear nothing but good about GVBMW! I read the Rookie Chronicles twice and was surprised to see my picture on station 11. I look forward to a super weekend and a chance to learn from a professional group of experienced drivers!

Thanks again,

Jan

My compliments to all the faces I do know and the ones behind the scenes for putting together such a great DE event again. The exercises were cutting edge and really added to the overall learnings.

Thanks for taking the time to care.

Than Orens

Will there be pictures of the cars running on track that will be posted on here? I looked at Track Time Photos website, but they appear to not have been at The Glen this past weekend.

Any pictures of the Honda Civic Si, please share. Also a big thanks to GVC BMW CCA for the wonderful event.

As far as I know, there wasn't a professional photographer at this event.

Thanks to everyone involved with GVBMWCCA for pulling off this event!  The experience was absolutely incredible!  See you in August with my wife driving as well !  Good Job!
