Well, I joined BMW CCA a couple weeks back and pre-registered for the August track day, but unfortunately, a couple days ago someone decided to smash into my DD. So, I'm waiting on the estimates, but I think there's a good chance I'll be looking for a new car. I'm going to take a look at some Mini Coopers tomorrow and am also considering an E36 M3. If anyone has any leads on a nice Cooper S (preferably 05-06) or a clean M3, I'd appreciate the info! I'm looking forward to attending some local events and getting some track time in!

I just noticed an ad for a 2007 Mini Cooper on the Boston web site:

And I've noticed a Black E36 M3 for sale in Mendon, I'll get a phone number the next time I drive by it.

Towne Mini in Williamsville (near Buffalo) has an '05 and an '06 Cooper S listed on their web site.

If you go to look, tell Dan Ives I said 'hi' - he's a good sponsor of our autocross program.

Well, for better or worse they fixed my car, so I'm stuck with it for a while longer. I'll just have to keep pouring money into my 240Z.
