“The BMW Car Club of America is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1969 just
as BMW of North America was increasing its sales with the 2002, a fast and fun 2-door sedan. The Club
began as an owner-support network and has grown to include over 75,000 BMW enthusiasts nationwide including
owners of classic and current models. The mission of the BMW Car Club of America is to enhance the BMW
experience for its members by providing services, support, information, and activities that promote
camaraderie and encourage social awareness and responsibility. BMW CCA offers a comprehensive range
of services and maintains a strong, independent relationship with BMW of North America.”
The BMW Car Club of America, is the largest association of BMW owners in the world. CCA members are
serious BMW enthusiasts who typically own one or more BMWs. The Genesee Valley Chapter is one of 64
chapters nationwide.
When you join the BMW CCA, you are assigned to a local chapter based upon your geographic location.
If your zip code is between 14000 and 14999 , you will be assigned to the Genesee Valley Chapter. The
GVC BMW CCA spans the western portion of New York State, and includes Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua,
Chemung, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Schuyler, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming,
Yates, and parts of Tioga and Thompkins Counties. You may choose to change your chapter affiliation
by contacting the national organization, or you may add chapter affiliations by paying a nominal fee
in addition to your annual BMW CCA membership dues.
The GVC BMW car club hosts a variety of educational, social, driving skill, and charity events throughout
the year, and provides a venue for members to share information, stories, and memories related to BMW
automobiles. Our home track is Watkins Glen International, in scenic Steuben County. The majority of
the GVC board and event organizers reside in the Greater Rochester area.
